Fifty new hires are being made in Dallas to meet a growing demand for cloud computing services.

Quisitive, a digital technology consulting firm with offices in Dallas and Denver, is bringing on the new workers over the coming months to support cloud migration for its clients in the financial services, oil and gas, manufacturing, and retail industries.

The hires will include infrastructure, application and data architects, as well as data engineers.

In conjunction with bringing on new employees, Quisitive is also rolling out its Microsoft Azure Cloud Assessment Program, which offers companies a comprehensive look at the returns on their cloud investments, and analyzes their cloud migration plans, future cloud applications and cloud architecture roadmaps.

Quisitive conducts the program through a series of workshops and interviews with clients, and after conducting its analysis, presents a business case with findings and recommendations. The company also supports clients as they implement those recommendations.

“Confidence in cloud migration ROI can be tough for organizations to realize, often resulting in perceived safety of sticking to status quo and kicking the can forward indefinitely,” Mike Reinhart, president of Quisitive, said in a prepared statement. “Organizations can no longer evaluate a move to the cloud based solely on price. They must look at how they transform, often through new data driven revenue streams, modern disaster recovery and agile business operations.”

Quisitive is one of eight partners that Microsoft has certified to deliver the assessments. It is also a Gold Microsoft Partner and serves as an Azure Blockchain Adviser.

Canadian private equity firm Fusion Agiletech Partners acquired Quisitive earlier this month. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

With the transaction, Quisitive became a subsidiary of information technology company Fusion Agiletech Partners, which plans to go public in Canada this year.
